Game in Photos: Padres vs. Nationals

It was a wild weekend for the Padres, as they hosted the Washington Nationals.  On Friday night, Fernando Tatis scored a run in the first and then slugged a homer in the 6th to give the Padres a 3-0 lead.  After falling behind 4-3, rookie Josh Naylor stole the show in the 9th inning, throwing out a baserunner at third base, knocking in the game-tying run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, stealing second base to get into scoring position, and then scoring on Austin Hedges’ game winning single.  Things didn’t go as well for the Friars the rest of the weekend, as Washington’s aces Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg both pitched gems, as the Nationals and Padres split the 4 game series.
