The Navy’s Officer Candidate School, located in Newport, Rhode Island, is a grueling 13 week long program that puts its students to the test morally, mentally, and physically. Hometown Hero Officer Candidate Tina Nguyen, a San Diego native and 2012 graduate of High Tech High School in San Marcos, tells us about her experiences so far and her desire to go into aviation.
