Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is one of the few people around the NFL that isn't afraid to tell you exactly what's on his mind. The former Bengals star and six-time Pro Bowler is calling on the Atlanta Falcons to sign free agent receiver Allen Robinson.

Robinson, who last played with the Chicago Bears, is currently the best receiver on the open market. With Calvin Ridley being levied a full-year suspension due to sports gambling, no team needs a legitimate receiver more desperately than the Falcons do.
In a tweet from Johnson Monday night, he calls on the Falcons to sign Robinson, saying that he won't go into how the Bears misused him and even said he sent owner Arthur Blank a text message.
"Allen Robinson to the Falcons," Johnson said in a tweet Monday night, he needs to be featured as the number 1 receiver that he is. I won’t get into the mishandling of an immense talent in Chicago but I texted Arthur Blank to do what’s right for the city & organization."
Johnson may have a point. Atlanta can't possibly compete next season with their only passing options being Frank Darby and Kyle Pitts.
Despite struggling mightily during the 2021 season, Robinson reached the 1,000-yard mark in three of his eight seasons in the league, with his last two being in 2019 and 2020.
Catching balls from a rookie Justin Fields, Robinson only recorded 400 yards with only one touchdown while injures cost him to miss five games. If he can pair up with the more experienced signal-caller in Matt Ryan, Robinson very well could return to his 2020 form.
PFF currently has Robinson signing a three-year deal worth $48 million which makes this idea a long shot considering the Falcons cap space situation.
