There's been plenty of hype surrounding names like Justin Fields, Mac Jones and Trey Lance for the Atlanta Falcons at No. 4 in the 2021 NFL Draft. But after what we saw on Tuesday night from a 30-year-old veteran who joined Atlanta this year as his fifth team, the Falcons may want to look in a different direction.

The 30-year-old veteran we're referring to here, of course, is not an Atlanta Falcon. Instead, it's Solomon Hill of the Atlanta Hawks, who is helping out his team with the leadership and know-how that comes with a guy who has been in the league for seven years and in a number of different environments. In the nine games that he's started this season, Atlanta has posted an 8-1 record, with his most recent effort resulting in a 108-103 win over the struggling Toronto Raptors.

It was in this game that Hill made a play that makes us wonder whether or not the Falcons might want to request his services in addition to whether or not Kevin Huerter has been working out with Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley in his spare time.

Hill gave props to Huerter after the play, posting the video to his own Twitter and bestowing "Red Velvet" with the label that Atlanta fans are used to giving to Julio Jones.

Now, don't get me wrong— Hill and Huerter are no superstar duo. But there are only so many people who can make this type of rarely seen play, and the first pair that came to mind happens to be one of the greatest teammate combinations of this generation, if not of all time.

Hill and Huerter, or Wade and James? It's a tough call, though I might slightly lean toward the latter. No matter... it's a great time to be a Hawks fan right now, and plays like this one are a good reason why. Under Nate McMillan, the Hawks are 16-5 even while dealing with some injury issues. The return of Bogdan Bogdanovic to expected form has helped — he's averaging 21.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in the month of April — and a fully healthy Hawks squad figures to become a force to be reckoned with entering the final stretch of the regular season and the NBA playoffs.
