San Diego FC won their inaugural MLS match 2-0 against the LA Galaxy on Sunday afternoon. SDFC put on an impressive display, not only shutting out the Galaxy, but also having twice as many shots on goal (6 to 3) en route to a 2-0 victory. SDFC scored their first goal in the 52nd minute, when Anders Dreyer drilled in a left-footer after sloppy passing led to a steal in the box. Then in stoppage time, Dreyer struck again on a breakaway to seal the game. San Diego FC's inaugural home match is Saturday at Snapdragon Stadium at 7:30 against St. Louis City SC.
