Padres top pitching prospect MacKenzie Gore returned to the mound to pitch in a game for the first time since June 18th when he was shut down due to blisters. Gore pitched well, going 4.2 innings and allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run while walking 1 and striking out 8 hitters.
Gore seemingly reworked his delivery, eliminating his high leg kick. Here's video of that new delivery:
