Holding a 3-2 lead in the 8th inning, the Padres' bullpen had a meltdown, as Robert Suarez was charged with 5 earned runs on 2 hits and 3 walks while recording just 2 outs, giving LA a 7-3 lead. After Trent Grisham drove in a run in the bottom of the 8th to pull the Padres to within 3 runs entering the 9th, the Dodgers put the game in the 9th, tacking on 3 more runs, and holding on to win 10-5. The Padres will send Blake Snell to the mound on Saturday.
