The Padres lost their second straight game to the Orioles on Tuesday night, dropping the series in the process. Yu Darvish struggled again, allowing 4 runs (3 earned) in 4+ innings of work. After falling behind 3-0, Luis Arraez got the Padres back in the game with a 2-run homer in the 3rd inning. Emmanuel Rivera's 2-run single off of David Morgan put the Orioles back up by 3. San Diego loaded the bases with one out in the 7th inning thanks to drawing three walks, but were unable to score any runs after Luis Arraez struck out and Manny Machado grounded out to shortstop. That proved to be the Padres' best and final chance to get back in the game, as the Orioles won 6-2 at Petco Park.
