Former San Diego State running back Ronnie Hillman has passed away at the age of 31 according to a message on his Instagram account. Hillman had been battling an aggressive form of cancer. After sitting out the 2009 football season due to administrative issues at San Diego State, Hillman played for the Aztecs during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, rushing for over 3,200 yards and 36 touchdowns in his two seasons prior to declaring for the NFL Draft. Hillman became a 3rd round pick of the Denver Broncos, and won the Super Bowl during the 2015 season. Our thoughts and prayers are with Hillman's family.
