No. 19 Aztecs Fall to Lobos

The No. 19 San Diego State Aztecs fell 88-70 to the New Mexico Lobos on the road Saturday, as the Aztecs' seven-game win streak came to an end.

The Aztecs led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but New Mexico was cut it to a three-point deficit at the halftime break. The Lobos then proceeded to outscore San Diego State 48-33 in the second half.

Jaedon LeDee led the Aztecs with 15 points, while Miles Byrd collected 13 points and Darrion Trammell finished with 12.

New Mexico received strong performances from Jaelen House and Jamal Mashburn Jr. House finished with 26 points and hit four three-pointers, while Mashburn had 19 points. JT Toppin also contributed with 17 points and 16 rebounds.

The Aztecs host Nevada on Wednesday evening. Opening tip is at 8 p.m.
