San Diego State fell to 3-7 on the season (1-5 in conference) after losing to Colorado State 22-19 on Saturday night. SDSU was held scoreless in the first half and trailed 15-0 at the half. The Aztecs trailed 22-6 entering the 4th quarter, and mounted a furious comeback. Jalen Mayden's 8-yard rushing touchdown with 11:37 remaining brought his team within 10 points. SDSU attempted a 2-point conversion to attempt to make it a one-possession game, but they couldn't convert. After recovering a CSU fumble, Mayden led his team on a 14-play 80 yard touchdown drive to bring SDSU within 3 points of the Rams. But CSU would run out the final 2:04 on the clock and never gave SDSU the ball back. SDSU has a road date with San Jose State next Saturday.
