San Diego State cruised past previously unbeaten Colorado State 79-49, handing the Rams their first loss of the season. The Aztecs improved to 10-3 (2-0 in conference) with Saturday's win. Trey Pulliam and LaMont Butler both returned to the court, which was a welcome sight. Matt Bradley again led the Aztecs in scoring with 26 points.
