New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner seems to be excited about landing a new quarterback, particularly if it is one of two possible veterans.
Both Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr have been speculated as potential trade targets for the Jets and Gardner tried to grab their attention on Twitter on Friday.

First, he tagged Rodgers because — why not? — saying, “Aye @AaronRodgers12 ? Nvm, I forgot what I was about to say,” adding a nervous smiling smiling emoji.
About 20 minutes later, Gardner tagged his teammate D.J. Reed saying “you & @derekcarrqb might have to talk about that one thing,” adding the same emoji at the end.
The tweets did not last long, though, as Gardner deleted them and added message for the fans and media who took notice.
Gardner was not the only Jet using social media as a recruitment too, though.
Wide receiver Garrett Wilson posted a photo on his Instagram story of a cartoon version of Rodgers in a green uniform that resembled more the Jets than Packers.
While Gardner and Wilson seem to be having some fun on social media, any quarterback looking to join the Jets will have to look no further than what both rookies did on the field this past season.
Gardner earned First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors while both he and Wilson were named to the 2022 NFL All-Rookie Team. Both are key building blocks in what could be a bright future for Gang Green, as long as they get that quarterback position figured out.
Jets GM Joe Douglas has reportedly made it known around the league he plans to go “all out” for Rodgers, whose time in Green Bay appears to be reaching its end.
The Jets have struggled to fill the quarterback position for many years, so either Rodgers or Carr would be welcome upgrades for the franchise, which appears to be trending upward for a change.
