SDFC defeated the LA Galaxy in dramatic fashion at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday afternoon, on Chucky Lozano's game-winning header in the 95th minute. LA's Diego Fagundez scored the match's first goal in the 40th minute, but Luca de la Torre responded immediately, scoring the equalizer one minute later. With the match tied at 1-1 and deep into extra time in the final moments of regulation, Anders Dreyer took control of a misplay by LA after a long clearance, and delivered a perfect pass into the center of the box that Lozano put home using his head to give SDFC its second win of the season over the Galaxy. SDFC's next match will be Wednesday evening in Seattle against the Sounders at 5:30 pm.
