Gisele Bündchen asked Tom Brady after he led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a blowout Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs what more he had to prove.
Apparently, Brady's now ex-wife wasn't the only person who was concerned that after the quarterback's age-43 season he didn't seem to be pondering walking away from such a brutal occupation.
Appearing on "Up & Adams," Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter revealed the details of a conversation that he had with Brady's father -- Tom Sr. -- the night before his son won his seventh Super Bowl title:
Brady led the NFL in both passing yards (5,316) and touchdowns (43) in 2021, his age-44 season. He hasn't found as much success with a diminished roster in 2022, but he'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Whether it's the Bucs or another team, it will be interesting to see if Brady decides to come in or keep playing in the rain in 2023.
