A report from the entertainment consultant firm Luminate shows that 50% of people who currently buy vinyl records do NOT own a record player!

We should mention though, that the stat could be somewhat misleading, as we don’t know how many vinyl purchasers already own a record player.

In 2022, consumers bought 41.3 million vinyl records, and when you see that comparatively, only 33.4 million compact discs were sold last year, you can tell the vinyl resuregence is real!
