We're not sure if you can really call Dallas' affair with e-scooters a "love-hate" relationship since the majority of people seem to hate them, but for better or worse, it's been about a month since the return of the scooters to our streets, and the response has been about what you would expect.

Even though the scooters were launched with tighter restrictions since their glorious return May 24th nearly 600 complaints have been made to 311, with a dozen or so injuries also being reported!

According to WFAA, 560 complaints have been made, though a spokesperson wouldn't elaborate on what each complaint regarded, or if they had actually been solved.

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center tracked the number of scooter-related injuries through their first run in Dallas, and from July 2018 to September 2019, 322 people visited the ER following a scooter crash, and that 55 required hospitalization, with 14 being taken to the ICU.

New regulations for the scooters try to curb the clutter they tend to make, including riders facing fines of $20 if bikes or scooters are improperly parked.
