We all have different rituals and routines while we drive.  Some of us like the radio blasting, others like complete silence.  Some of us are strict followers of our hands at 10 and 2, others are trying to juggle their phones, a coffee, and the steering wheel all at once.

Different driving habits appear to span across generations too, as evident by a new survey from Ziebart.

The survey looked at how each generation uses their time in the car and found that Gen Z drivers are the most likely generation to want to drive in complete silence.

Millennials are the most likely to think about the future or make plans while driving, and Gen Xers are the most likely generation to “Rock Out” in their cars, as 89% said listening to music in their car is their “top driving activity.”

The survey also found that Gen X drivers are the most likely generation that needs to give themselves a “pep talk” before getting behind the wheel.
