At the height of the pandemic in 2020, Chris Koerner was craving treats from Buc-ee’s, but found that they actually don’t sell any of their goodies online.
What most might see as a complete bummer, Koerner saw it as an opportunity.

Koerner has a background in online distribution and reached out to the store with a proposal of a partnership. He heard nothing and decided to take matters into his own hands. He told MySA.com, “It was crickets,” he says. “So, I decided to do it myself.
Koerner visited a Gulf Coast Buc-ee's location and filled up his cart with almost $1,500 worth of snacks and treats. He hired a professional photographer, registered the website “BeaverSnax.com,” and went to work.
Almost immediately, Koerner heard from a Buc-ee's lawyer. Amazingly though, all they asked was for him to remove the word “Beaver” from his reselling business and ask that he make it clear on his website that he has no affiliation with the store.
Now, through TexasSnax.com, Koerner makes $250,000 a month selling Buc-ee's snacks, treats, and merchandise, all because Buc-ee's doesn’t make their products available online.
Unbelievable!
