A man named Dewey J. Smith was arrested Wednesday in relation to a string of car burglaries in Deltona, Florida.
The police noticed several cars had been broken into, and that the thief had left behind what they believed to be marinara sauce from a pizza smeared all over the car's door, and a discarded pizza box near where the crimes had occurred.

Well, the authorities had been alerted by a neighbor to a man, later identified as Smith, who had inquired about potentially buying a gun. The neighbor was also carrying a white grocery bag containing credit cards and gift cards.
The woman then witnessed the man take the Little Caesar’s pizza she had JUST thrown into the garbage, and eat it for himself.
Deputies told FOX 35 they later found Smith walking near the scene, the victims' cards still in possession, and he reportedly told them "You got me red-handed."
Smith is facing several charges including armed burglary of a conveyance, four counts of fraudulent use of credit cards, grand theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
