Catherine Engel suspected someone was breaking into the barn on her Vero Beach, Florida property, so she set up a trail camera to see if she should capture anything suspicious.
And to say what she saw was "suspicious" would be a massively gross understatement.
The cameras captured 57-year-old Santiago Victoria, who was filmed entering the barn late at night and invading a stall occupied by a mini horse named Mariah. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, on three separate occasions, Victoria “gets behind the horse in a sexual manner."
Engel identified Victoria as the suspect, telling the police he was employed by a welding company that parks vehicles on the same property where the barn is located.
When the police confronted Victoria last Friday, he admitted to having "sexual intercourse with the horse," but could not recall how many times.
Victoria was arrested on three felony burglary charges, and is scheduled for arraignment November 29th.
