The Independence Fund, Meals on Wheels Greenville County, Harvest Hope Food Bank, and Upstate Warrior Solution are partnering to deliver 200 care packages to Greenville area Veterans in need during a day of service.

This will include non-contact delivery because those catastrophically wounded Veterans included in Saturday’s deliveries are most at risk from contact.
Cleaning supplies, food, and gift cards will be delivered as part of The Independence Fund’s Independence@Home program and in partnership with Upstate Warrior Solution, Meals on Wheels Greenville County, and Harvest Hope Food Bank. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Independence Fund launched Independence@Home, an emergency program to directly support its Veterans, Caregivers, and families with a range of emergent COVID-19 costs, including food and cleaning supplies.
This Veteran care package delivery in Greenville is one of several similar events happening around the country.
The deliveries will begin on June 6 at 9 AM.
