Greenville: Mayor - Knox White, District 1 Council Seat - (R) John DeWorken, District 3 Council Seat - Ken Gibson, At-large Council Seat - (D) Dorothy Dowe. Turn out for Tuesday's Elections came in at 18%. DeWorken received 55% of the votes, Dowe won with 56% of the vote.
Simpsonville: Mayor of Simpsonville Janice Curtis was defeated by challenger Paul Shewmaker in yesterdays municipal elections across Greenville County. Dorothy Dowe defeated incumbent George Fletcher in the At-large council seat race. John DeWorken beat Matt Johnson for the open council seat. Mauldin: Mauldin's incumbent mayor Dennis Raines faces councilman Terry Merrit in a run off scheduled for November 19th. Unofficial vote shows Merritt stayed on top with 30% of the vote Tuesday. Mayor - Runoff Election between Terry Merritt and Dennis Raines, Council Seat 2 - Carol King, Council Seat 4 - Michael Reynolds, Council Seat 6 - Diane Kuzniar.
Fountain Inn: Ft Inn's incumbent mayor Sam Lee faces GP Mcleer in a run off scheduled for November 19th. Mayor - Runoff Election between Sam Lee and GP McLeer, Ward 2 Council Seat - Runoff between Maike Maier and Jay Thomason, Ward 3 Council Seat - AJ Dearybury, Ward 4 Council Seat - Phil Clemmer, Ward 6 Council Seat - Mack Blackstone.
