The Greenville County Coroner's Office is working with Greenville City Police to investigate a death near Alameda Street, according to Deputy Coroner Kent Dill.
Greenville County coroner Parks Evans said Kamille Dequeze Anderson, 22, was found in the road on Alameda Street shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday.He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Evans.
Evans said Anderson died from a gunshot wound to the head and the death was ruled a homicide.
Detectives ask that if anyone was in the area during the time of the shooting, witnessed the incident or has any information to assist in the investigation to please contact Crime Stoppers at 23-Crime. Tipsters can be anonymous.
