Man shot multiple times, Spartanburg Police searching for suspect(s). 

Officers responded to a shooting 7pm Wednesday night at Caulder Avenue and George Washington Carver Drive in Spartanburg.    


A male victim was found, sitting in his car shot multiple times... in the arm, leg and torso. 

Officers report he was conscious and talking prior to being transported to Spartanburg Medical Center for treatment.

Those who witnessed the shooting say the suspect/suspects sped away from the area in a silver or gray Ford Crown Victoria. 

Spartanburg Police are seeking information from the public about this shooting.

Police report the victim, driving a Toyota Camry, and the suspect vehcile, a Crown Victoria, had collided with one another prior to the driver of the Crown Victoria pulling out a gun and shooting at the Camry.  A witness said the victim returned fire at the suspect(s) vehicle before it sped off.  

A police report states the Crown Victoria could be missing a side view mirror.

Shooting Incident: Case Number C200800757
On August 26, 2020 around 7:00 p.m., officers from the Spartanburg Police Department responded to the intersection of Caulder Avenue and George Washington Carver Drive in reference to a shooting incident.
When officer arrived on scene, they discovered a male victim who had been shot several times.
The victim was sitting in his vehicle when police arrived. Witnesses informed police the suspect(s) fled the area driving a silver or gray Ford Crown Victoria.
The victim received several gunshot wounds to his arm, leg and torso area. The victim was conscious and talking when police arrived.
He was transported the Spartanburg Medical Center by Spartanburg EMS to be treated for his injuries.   
This is an active ongoing investigation. The Spartanburg Police Department is seeking information from the public about this incident.
