The Simply Home City is doing its' part to raise cancer awareness with their brand new girl, Pinkie.
A restored 2008 Dodge Charger patrol car. With a fresh coat of paint, pink - of course, among other upgrades, all materials, time and labor were donated by local businesses.
Zero taxpayer dollars were used for the upgrades.
Pinkie will make her rounds around town, functions and events* to help eradicate cancer. Earlier this year, the department laid to rest Suzie, Pinkie's predecessor.
She was... exhausted.

‘Pinkie’ helps Simpsonville police promote cancer awareness
Vehicle upgrades made possible by donations
Simpsonville, S.C. — The Simpsonville Police Department has a new friend in fighting cancer: Pinkie.
To help raise cancer awareness, Simpsonville police upgraded a retired 2008 Dodge Charger patrol car with a fresh coat of pink paint, body work, new decals, exhaust system, tinted windows, neon lighting and subwoofers at zero cost to taxpayers.
Multiple sponsors donated all materials, time and labor to prepare Pinkie for its new mission: helping eradicate cancer. The following list credits all sponsors that made Pinkie possible at no cost:

Pinkie replaces Suzie, a former patrol car that helped raise cancer awareness for the past several years. Due to the age of the vehicle, the Simpsonville Police Department retired Suzie.
