John Gray is back in the news again.
You may recall the local megachurch pastor, who leads Relentless Church here in Greenville, came under fire a few months back after purchasing his wife a spanking new Lamborghini.
Gray faced scrutiny for that, although he insists the car was purchased with money he made from media deals and book sales.
Now Gray is in the headlines again after insinuating regret that he had visited the White House last summer.
During an interview on The Real daytime talk show on Monday, the show’s co-host Loni Love brought up that visit he and other black pastors made to President Trump.
Asked whether he would go back, Gray said he didn’t think it would be wise, adding that he was praying for the country, which he said is fractured, broken and in need of healing.
He concluded by saying that the root cause of the problem is not the government, but the nation as a whole.
Gray said, "We voted who we are."
