The South Carolina Department of Transportation issued the following media release Tuesday.
Weather permitting, I-385 Southbound will be detoured from Tuesday through Friday during overnight hours from just south of Roper Mountain Road to Woodruff Road.The detour will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting tonight to allow workers to perform latex concrete paving across the entirety of the I-385 over I-85 bridge approach slab. This operation will subsequently repeat on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.
Drivers wanting to continue on I-385 SB will be detoured to Exit 35 (I-385 Southbound to Woodruff Road) and will follow signs to I-385 Southbound.Please obey speed limits, follow all traffic control, and be mindful of workers in the construction area.
