Based on forecast high winds that make car and bus travel unsafe, Greenville County Schools will operate on Attendance Plan Zero on Thursday, which is 100-percent eLearning.
The forecast is calling for a chance of sustained tropical storm force winds and gusts around 40 MPH. This will not only make the commute unsafe for buses, but with possible downed power lines and trees it will be unsafe for general travel for students, employees, and high school drivers.
Students are asked to remember to take home their Chromebooks this evening and to log onto Google Classroom Thursday for live lessons from their teachers.
