19 people charged in conspiracy to traffic drugs into SC

The U.S. Department Of Justice says 19 people have been charged for shipping drugs into South Carolina from the West Coast. One suspect has already been sentenced to over 15 years in prison.

The DOJ says the group was shipping various drugs from California to the Rock Hill area. Officials say that over 250 packages were shipped including 27 kilos of cocaine, 7 kilos of fentanyl, and 6 kilos of meth and more.

17 of the 19 defendants in the conspiracy have already pleaded guilty.
