A 2nd suspect has now been charged in connection to a murder in Western North Carolina, earlier this year. On the night of January 18th, 27 year old Mackenzie McCord Strickland was found shot to death outside a home on Southern Street in Asheville.
The following day, 27 year old Cody Lee Guyton was arrested for Strickland's murder. On Monday, the Asheville Police Department arrested 26 year old, Jamel Marquis Fisher with accessory after the fact.

During his arrest a gun was found on Fisher and he was additionally charged with a weapons violation. Investigators say, an argument between Guyton and Strickland led to the shooting and the the incident remains under investigation.
