A suspect has been sentenced after he was involved in a shooting in a parking lot at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport after he and another man tried robbing drug traffickers.

Court evidence shows that, in January of 2022, two drug traffickers flew into GSP from Los Angeles carrying about 50 pounds of marijuana. The traffickers were picked up by two associates and, unbeknownst to them, two men, Dequandry Razor and Kendrick Corbin of Columbia, were waiting in a parked car to rob them.

Razor and Corbin reportedly rushed in with guns drawn and a shootout commenced. A bystander was trapped in her vehicle in the parking lot as the bullets flew. One of the traffickers was shot; Razor and Corbin then fled without the marijuana. Responding officers found gun shell casings and the marijuana stash at the scene.

Corbin has been sentenced to just over 19 years in prison for armed robbery, conspiracy and multiple weapons violations. In September, Dequandry Razor was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in the incident.
