Just one day away from the primary, the race for for the Republican nomination for the 4th District U.S. Congressional seat is expectedly to be hotly contested. Four candidates are vying for the seat. Those four include incumbent William Timmons, Pastor Mark Burns, Mike Lapierre and George Abuzied. Both Lapierre and Burns have been critical of Timmons in recent weeks. The incumbent spoke on his record in office at candidate debates.
Burns says he feels it's time to restore conservative values. Mike Lapierre is an Ivy League graduate, a retired former corporate executive and a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment. George Abuzeid is a former naval aviator who says he's looking to preserve conservative ideals. Polls will be open for voting in the 4th District Congressional Primary tomorrow from 7AM to 7 PM.
