Nearly a half dozen Upstate teenagers arrested following a deadly Georgia shooting last month.
15-year-old O’Brien Jordan was killed following a shooting at 7 Grands nightclub in Elbert County Georgia on October 12th. Several others were also injured.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced the arrests of five total teenagers from the Upstate of South Carolina in connection to the fatal shooting.
18-year-old Jarquavious Demetriun Scott was arrested previously on four counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Now, four more teenagers, 20-year-old Destanne Mathis, 18-year-old Aanidras Parks, 19-year-old Jerimiyah Hughes and 18-year-old Desmond Latimer, all originally from Anderson, were arrested on various Murder, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, and Violation of Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act charges.
All five are currently being held at the Elbert County Detention Center. The investigation is still ongoing.
