The American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending that children receive flu shots as we approach flu season. The AAP is suggesting that all children six months and older that are able to receive the vaccine, get it. It is also being recommended that children between six and eight months get the shot in two doses, arranged four weeks apart. However, the AAP says that a child should wait on getting the flu shot if they are dealing with Covid-19.
