An accused sexual predator is facing a list of child sex crime charges in Western North Carolina.
The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office says Michael Blaine Lancaster was arrested Wednesday after an investigation into child sexual exploitation.
Lancaster was then charged with 1st degree statutory rape, 1st degree criminal sexual exploitation of a minor, indecent acts with a child, and crimes against nature. North Carolina law says crimes against nature is when sodomy or bestiality is committed.
The Sheriff's Office did not eleborate on the details of the crimes. Lancaster is being held in Rutherford County on a bond of 500 grand.
