Additional charges have been filed against the suspect in an Upstate shooting late last week, that killed two people and injured another. As we previously reported, 45 year old Patrick Aloyisius Piotte was arrested after investigators say he shot three people at a home on Ivy Woods Court in Fountain Inn, Friday afternoon.
Two of the victims have been identified as 72 year old Richard Ernest Smith and his son 45 year old Andrew Paul Smith. A 3rd victim was injured and taken to an area hospital. Piotte was taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder, Friday evening.

On Monday, new charges were filed against him for weapons violations, attempted murder and 1st degree burglary. Investigators determined that Piotte had lived at the home with the Smiths for about a year, prior to moving out several weeks ago.
They are still working to determine why he moved out of the home. Piotte is currently being held without bond in Greenville County.
