Another arrest has been made following the double murder of an Upstate couple. On the night of June 15th, Ansel and Alice Bouchillon were shot dead in their home on Hunter Road in Simpsonville.
Greenville County Investigators identified the suspect as Jerry Yancy, a contractor who had done work for the Bouchillon's. Investigators say Yancy killed the couple after a dispute over the work he had done for them. Earlier this week when Investigators went to arrest Yancy at a Greenville hotel, he shot himself and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Friday, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Yancy's wife, 63 year old Sherry Lynne Parker. She's charged with Accessory After The Fact. Investigators say Parker knowingly lied to them trying to cover up her husband's involvement in the double murder. Parker is currently being held at the Greenville County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
