Yet another pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Upstate roads. The latest incident happened in Spartanburg County around 5:15AM, Thursday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was walking in the roadway on Highway 9 when they were hit by a Nissan SUV. The driver of the Nissan was not injured. The pedestrian however was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, as of the time of this report and the crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
