Are you surprised that material considered "obscene" was found in South Carolina Schools?

There has been much talk this week about obscene materials in schools. Governor Henry McMaster says his office was alerted when complaints came in earlier this week. McMaster says he reviewed the material and found it to be obscene and inappropriate. The material he is referring to is a book that was found in a school library. Schools often are very "PC" in what they allow read and even said in their buildings. So does it surprise you at all that a book available in a public school library would contain obscene material?
