An arrest has been made after a student at an Upstate high school reportedly assaulted a classmate. The Union Police Department says that a student at Union County High punched another student in the face twice, last Friday.
The incident happened in the school's cafeteria and a staff member intervened. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody and is charged with 3rd degree assault.
The suspect was then released to his mother's care. The suspect was not identified due to them being a minor.
