Investigators with the GCSO Homicide Unit have made an arrest in connection with the Saturday night shooting death of 42 year old Quintin Mitchell of Greenville.
Early Sunday morning, Deputies arrested 36-year-old Sterling Vernard Antwan Harmon for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
Investigators say Harmon and the victim got into an argument inside a motel room at the InTown Suites located on Wade Hampton Boulevard. Then Harmon shot the victim, resulting in his death.
Harmon was arrested and was taken to the Greenville County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
