A pair of suspects are now in custody after the fatal shooting of a former football player at an Upstate high school, this past weekend.
As we previously reported 18 year old Rashard Wright, a recent Byrnes High graduate, who played DB for the Rebel Football program was shot Saturday night at an apartment complex in Duncan. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Officials with the city of Duncan say, two suspects have now been arrested in connection to the shooting. One of them is charged with Wright's murder and has been denied bond.
A 2nd suspect was taken into custody, Tuesday. The Duncan Police Department has not released the names of the suspects. They say doing so, could hinder their investigation.
