Anderson County authorities say a man wanted for attempted murder is in custody following 90 minutes standoff with a sheriff's office SWAT squad and U-S Marshals Thursday morning.
They were trying to arrest 41-year-old Robert Morgan. He's charged with attempted murder and a weapons charged in connection with a shooting last month in Spartanburg County that left the victim critically wounded.
The Marshal's office says Morgan barricaded himself in a garage as they arrived at a house on Holland Drive in Anderson. Their official report says he was taken into custody an hour and a half later "with minimal resistance."
