Laurens County is already prepping for the next school year.
On Friday, July 12, 2024, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office is hosting its "Fill the Cruiser" school supply collection drive at the Chic-Fil-A on East Main Street in Laurens. Items needed, but not limited to, include bookbags, paper, pencils, binders, crayons and pens.
The Sheriff's Office will be on site from 9a-2p, collecting items. All supplies and proceeds benefit local Laurens County students!
The Sheriff's Office Back to School Bash is scheduled for July 27, 2024, when donated supplies will be given away, while they last.
