The Anderson County Sheriff's Office has joined a list of upstate law enforcement agencies charging a Belton business owner with an ongoing online scam.

After a lengthy investigation, Pamela Brooke Schronce is facing a felony charge of Obtaining Property under False Pretenses.

Anderson County authorities says Schronce was scamming customers of her children's clothing boutique, by taking money from 54 Anderson County customers for online orders and never delivering the goods.

She has previously been arrested in Easley, Fairfield County and Spartanburg County for misdemeanor charges before her most recent arrest in Anderson County.

The 30-year-old Schronce was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.  On Tuesday morning, a judge has granted Schronce a $25,00 surety bond.
