A bicyclist is dead after a crash in Spartanburg County, Friday morning. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 6AM on Highway 29 near Cherry Hill Road in Cowpens.
Troopers say the bicyclist was hit by a Ford truck; both were said to be traveling northbound. The identity of the deceased has not been released as of the time of this report.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
