The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation at 4001 Pelham Road.
Deputies responded to the incident location just before 5AM Saturday after receiving reports of gunshots being heard and a subject lying in the parking lot of Ashton Wood Apartments just north of the Pelham Road Walmart Supercenter.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a body. No other details are available at this time.
Captain Jimmy Bolt of the Greenville County Sheriff's is asking anyone with information concerning this incident to call Crimestoppers at 23-CRIME.
