The identity of a body found Friday morning by a creek in Greenville has been released. Coroner Shelton England said the body was spotted by a passerby near the intersection of Easley Bridge Road and Kilgore Street around 8:30 AM.
The man has been identified as 23 year old Alexander Justin Markham of Easley. An autopsy was performed over the weekend. But cause and manner of death are still pending.
According to the coroner, there are no signs of foul play. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
