The suspect driver in a crash that killed three Upstate teenagers last year was in court for a bond hearing, Wednesday morning. As we previously reported, three teenagers were killed in a crash near Chesnee High school, in September of 2023.
The driver, 18 year old Juan Pablo Ortega Preciado is charged with reckless driving and driving without a license. Authorities say, Preciado was driving over a 100 in a 45 MPH zone when a truck was pulling out of the driveway. He swerved to miss the truck and the car ran off the road, hit trees and caught on fire.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 15 year old, Vitaliy Rybinski, his brother 17 year old Vladimir Rybinski and 18 year old, Jeffrey Scott Wallace. The judge has set Preciado's bond at $21,000
